Safety Precautions

Our objective is to provide a safe experience for all while enjoying a great day of play to benefit Lexington Habitat for Humanity:

  • Participants, staff, volunteers, and sponsors will be asked to self-screen and stay home for any of the following (if a golfer is unable to attend for one of these reasons, registration can be transferred to another person but the updated USGA handicap for a replacement may impact the team’s eligibility to play in the National Finals):

o Are you experiencing COVID-19 symptoms?
o Have a body temperature reading of 100.4°F or higher
o For more information regarding symptoms please see here.

  • Online registration or touchless paper registration - full payment and registration required prior to event to reduce contact and wait times

  • Socially distant, outdoor check-in for golfers

  • Proper social distancing required at all times

  • Online auction available prior to event with online payment option to reduce contact

  • Masks available for all golfers at check-in

  • Cart dividers available upon request

  • All golf carts sanitized prior to use

  • Box lunch provided on golf carts with single use cutlery/condiments

  • Hand sanitizing stations available

  • Frequent cleaning of high touch surfaces

  • Outdoor awards ceremony (weather permitting)

  • If you feel unsafe or uncomfortable during the event, please call (859) 813-4114

  • Contingency plan: In the event we are unable to host the tournament in 2021, guest passes for each foursome will be issued for the course and a pick-up option for golfer gifts will be made available to those with paid registrations. Guest passes are not for single golfer use and time is based on club availability.

Lexington Habitat for Humanity will continue to adopt new policies as necessary to provide the safest possible experience and to meet all guidance as circumstances evolve.
