Why We Golf
For more than a decade, net proceeds from our annual golf tournament have benefited the Pat Smith Lexington Habitat for Humanity Endowment Fund. While this year’s tournament will still honor Pat’s legacy, net proceeds go directly to help accomplish the mission of Lexington Habitat for Humanity. Since 1986, we have built and/or repaired nearly 600 homes in partnership with families, volunteers and donors. This is a critical moment for Lexington Habitat for Humanity. Families are facing uncertainty in inadequate, overcrowded, or overpriced housing as their dreams of homeownership and aging in place are jeopardized by changing circumstances. By joining the 2020 Lexington Habitat for Humanity Golf Tournament, you are helping to secure our long-term and ongoing ability to build homes, communities and hope.
